Perceptive Perspective - High Contrast

PhotobucketWhat a week! I became an aunt on Thursday!

My husband's sisters have kids, so I am officially an aunt, but it's not quite the same as your only sister having a baby. She was not due until July, so we were all surprised when Heather was put in the hospital on Monday. She was having signs of preeclampsia and by Thursday morning, the doctors wanted the baby out before something went wrong.

Little Faith came by the afternoon and only weighed three and a half pounds. She is a cutie and I can't wait until she gets out of the NICU and I'm able to snap a few pictures of her.

We all expected another ten weeks of preparation time for this little bundle of joy. But no one ever said life was easy, right? I would love my contrast photos to be of her, but I've only been able to get pics of her on a phone... bluck!

So instead, I've got these...

Of course, once I post these pictures, the contrast always fades online. I see some of your shots sometimes and wonder how you get them to post online so crisp and full of color and contrast. Any tips on this?

Next week: Happiness
