Perceptive Perspective - Tell Me a Story

PhotobucketMy story is a story of love. My photos are from a couple years ago. I know that's against my own rules, but my mind has been on this subject nonstop.

My grandparents have been married for 63 amazing years. Through grandpa's service in the Navy in two wars, four kids, nine grandkids, and 3 (and a half) great-grandkids, they still love each other just as much as the day they were married.

A couple years ago, we celebrated their 60th anniversary. They were so cute!

They have had a rough couple years since this celebration. It's been one thing after another. This last week has been one of the hardest. After both being put in the hospital last Monday, they were told they cannot go back home for safety reasons. They want their independence. But most of all, they want to be together ~ in Grandpa's words, "...until the end!"

Here's their story that continues... in us. Their story will never end!

This is so touching and so sad at the same time. I can just feel their love for each other in those photos! But I can not imagine how frustrating it would be to be told that I couldn't go home.

WOW!! 63 YEARS!! AMAZING!! Yes, their descendants continue their story! Bless THEM!!

I know I've been MIA for a bit, and my picture isn't the best... Mine is the one of the stockings on the wall. It links to and continues the story of why I've been a bit out of it here. (((HUGS)))

OOPS!! It's the one I wrote for tomorrow since I'll be busy with family tonight... Will the linky still be open? I still tell the story about these cool stockings that are a tradition in our family. The other is about a couple I did the wedding for and some of the problems I've been having with my computer. Let me know... ;D

What a sweet story. I hope they will be able to be together "until the end" and be strong and healthy! I can't imagine being separated from someone I loved so much.
