More on Monday

Want a great, easy recipe that is sure to please? If I need to bring a potluck item, this is usually the one I choose. It's super easy and people love it! I have yet to take it somewhere without someone asking for the recipe. So, just to worn you, take the recipe with you if you make it for a crowd - you will need it!

1 package of coleslaw
1 bunch of green onions
2 packages of Raman Noodles (I use the beef flavored, but you can try others)
8 oz of sunflower seeds
8 oz of sliced almonds
3/4 cup of veg. oil
1/4 cup of sugar
2 Tbl of vinegar

Crush the Raman Noodles up and place them in a large bowl. Keep the flavor packets to the side - you will need these later. Add seeds, almonds, onions, and coleslaw to bowl.

In a small container, mix oil, vinegar, sugar and flavor packets.

Right before you are ready to serve, pour the oil mixture over the salad and mix well. If you put your oil on too early, it will be a soggy mess.

The only bad thing about this recipe is there is no such thing as left-overs. Even if the masses haven't scarfed up the entire bowl (witch is usually the case), it gets too soggy to keep. So, make a half a batch if that's all that's needed and save the rest for you later!
