My new brother...

In less than three days, I will have a brother! I've always wanted a brother - ever since I can remember. I was always the girl climbing trees, splashing in the mud and doing "boy" things. I hated dresses and bows and anything "girly". I always wanted a boy's point of view when I was chasing after them in high school and college. I still often find myself with "the boys", avoiding catty girl talk.

I always wanted a baby boy too. Having two girls is great, but a boy in the family would have been nice. Maybe my new brother can give me a nephew... that's close - isn't it? OK... I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm excited!

I'm so excited for my one and only sibling to finally have found her match! He's a great man and I can't wait to get to know him more and more throughout many years to come. I already see that he's caring and loving. And like my sister, the most important things in life are God and family. To me, that says a lot about a man.
